After Sonic Generations -- Classic Sonic Ch. 2

Thank you for bringing this story back to my attention. I've been so busy lately it actually got shoved out of my mind.

I can't believe it's been 8 months since I've added to this story. The first couple of pages of this chapter have been sitting, collecting virtual dust in my computer for months now. Moving around, college, homework, all that jazz have made writing... well... difficult. When I found myself sitting down and writing not just a paragraph but several pages of this story, I was thrilled. Could barely get to sleep last night knowing that I was actually writing something for once!

So here is, finally, the next installment in After Sonic Generations! When last we left Classic Sonic and Tails, they had just been sent on their way to a watery fate by Knuckles. Will the story continue along a slightly modified version of Sonic 3's story, or are things about to get changed up?
